Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Testing

Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) is a generic term to describe powered extraction systems removing hazardous airborne substances from specific points. LEV systems are one of the commonest means of limiting and controlling employee exposure to hazardous substances thus protecting their health and welfare.

As with any engineering control incorporating mechanical components - the system is subject to “Wear and Tear” and subsequently needs to be regularly tested to ensure adequate levels of performance. The legal requirement to regularly test under the Control of Substances to Health (COSHH) regulations 2002 as amended.

We can undertake regular testing for you thus meeting the requirements required for both the COSHH regulations and HSE guidance document HS (G) 54.
